In some cases when we are replacing teeth with dental implants, there is insufficient bone or gum volume available to allow ideal positioning of the planned tooth for function and cosmetics. Bone grafting is used to replace the lost volume and provide a better long term result. Dr Nick Williams is experienced in this area having studied extensively through international courses and successfully treating hundreds of cases. In most situations it is possible to combine the bone graft with the implant placement, however in some situations a separate bone grafting procedure is required. Specific details will be confirmed following a clinical assessment and 3D imaging
